Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist declining a team-up offer while hinting at a pre-existing group. He is then confronted by a strong cadet who challenges him, revealing the rules of a cadet battle (watch stealing) and demonstrating her superior skills. Despite almost being eliminated, the protagonist manages to escape, regroup, and eat while considering his next move and strategizing.
