Synopsis

This chapter details the formation and expansion of the vampire nation Baekah, revealing that their generals, often those cast aside by other nations, are driven by revenge against the gods. A character explains the vampires' weaknesses: sunlight, silver, and a third, less obvious flaw: a lack of justification and true cohesion now that their basic survival is secure, causing some generals to hesitate. The chapter closes with the revelation that not all vampires worship the 'Blood and Rotten Meat God' and that some unwillingly became vampires, further contributing to internal divisions.
