Synopsis

This chapter focuses on Tamaridou's inner conflict regarding his inability to become king, driven by recurring nightmares and the perceived disapproval of his god. Simultaneously, others discuss the nature of prophecy and the possibility of manipulating it, as well as the hierarchy of gods and their influence on their followers. Different groups believe the ogre Kijin will become king while others try to persuade Tamaridou to usurp him, concluding with a lizardman discouraging Tamaridou's royal ambitions, suggesting he defies his god.
