Synopsis

Starcatcher, now deceased, finds himself in an afterlife alongside other lizardmen who haven't awakened yet. He reminisces about how his arithmetic lessons inspired warriors to make heroic sacrifices, even against tribal orders, and how this caused turmoil amongst the living. He's visited by another figure who has been watching him. Starcatcher starts reshaping the afterlife into a technological hub, knowing that a powerful tribe with advanced technology, backed by a mysterious 'player', is coming for them.
