Synopsis

After being ambushed, the protagonist is offered protection by Black Scythe, who demands absolute obedience in return. The protagonist, valuing his pride, vehemently refuses this offer despite its strategic advantage. This rejection prompts Black Scythe to withdraw his offer, leaving the protagonist vulnerable. As a weakened goblin wave begins, the protagonist decides to single-handedly defend the entrance, choosing to trust his own strength rather than compromise his independence.
