Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist and his companions investigating a recent magical beast attack, revealing that one of the curses he placed on a previous foe has been undone. Concerned that his presence attracts danger, he decides to leave, providing information to restore a holy artifact and then heading back to his territory, where a surge of immigrants and the enthusiastic support of dwarves have spurred a fast-paced reconstruction effort.
