Synopsis

The protagonist wakes up in the Duke's lodgings, having been unconscious for an extended time after a red mist incident. He learns that he is now marked with a large stigmata, which is seen as a sign of being chosen by the gods, causing concern and curiosity. He reflects on his power growth from the event, including increased mana and the ability to wield a unique aura blade. He decides to contemplate his situation privately, while his maid is urged to rest.
