Synopsis

Davey begins training the Vermillion Bird, a god beast born from people's rage, by threatening it with oil baths and cooking it, emphasizing the importance of discipline. He explains to others how humans developed 'Mystical Techniques' in a world devoid of divine protection, a place that had to replicate the powers of other races due to a lack of mana. This world is different from Tionus, where mana is abundant and the mystical technique is not necessary. The chapter suggests that Davey's knowledge comes from a world like the one where the Heavenly Demon Dok Gojun is from, but overrun by Yokai.
