Synopsis

The chapter sees the protagonist skillfully turning a CM agent against his superior, a middle manager named Shylock, to survive. Simultaneously, the protagonist enters a forbidden magic tower, defying warnings, and learns about the Majestic Beholder, who is a device controlling the mana waterfall, not a powerful being. Furthermore, the chapter reveals the hidden purpose of the magic towers and the existence of ego controllers which are crucial to the balance between humans and the overwhelming power of the dragon veins. This also leads to a tense confrontation with Sari, who had followed him to the tower.
