Synopsis

The chapter opens with a character despairing about the similarity between living and being dead, revealing a history of abuse from his half-brother Thein. He attempts suicide, but is interrupted by someone who claims to know the future and offers to help him become the head of his family. Simultaneously, another group of students reflects on a recent defeat at the hands of a powerful individual, expressing shame and planning to seek help from seniors while trying to keep it secret. The chapter ends with a confrontation where the first character is stopped from harming himself, showcasing the beginning of a potential partnership.
