Synopsis

The chapter begins with a confrontation where the protagonist is accused of getting special treatment due to isolated training, which was determined by potential not rank. It's revealed the top student, Kashien, is bothered by the protagonist's advancement. Kashien requests a sparring match which cannot be refused by school rules. The protagonist, initially hesitant, accepts the spar as the rumors of his isolated training has put him under scrutiny.
