Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist being confronted by a group of enemies, led by a figure seeking revenge for Hape. They launch a powerful 'genocide magic' scroll attack, expecting to kill him. Surprisingly, the protagonist is unscathed, having blocked the attack with his body, and is more concerned about the effects of the cold magic on his hair, suggesting incredible durability and indifference to lethal force. The chapter ends with his adversaries being bewildered and terrified by his resilience.
