Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist, exhausted and low on magic, facing a relentless foe who regenerates from almost any injury. The enemy, Turner, taunts the protagonist about his human limitations and continues to attack with fire. The protagonist then activates a powerful time-altering artifact, the 'Clockwork Ring,' and uses a counterflow technique to temporarily convert magic to empower a demonic aura, gaining an edge in the battle.
