Synopsis

The protagonist is questioned by Arian about his origins and then offered immense power by Lord Zahar, which involves a grueling trial. After the trial, the protagonist finds himself with his companions in a new location, Melun, a village where they are trapped by a transparent wall. They meet Walker Elbin, a long-time resident of this world, indicating that there are others in the same situation.
