Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist discovering undead summoners, opting to investigate instead of immediately attacking. They later team up with castle soldiers to confront the summoners, but a Balrog is summoned, which they were unable to control and the fight intensifies. The protagonist infuses magic into his weapon and fights the Balrog, barely landing a blow before needing to recharge his abilities and finishing the fight with a strong second attack. The chapter ends with the protagonist wondering about his own mysterious bracelet.
