Synopsis

The chapter opens with the human group recovering from a brutal battle against angels, saved from total annihilation by the timely arrival of dragons. The dragons reveal the Angel King violated neutrality by summoning more than the permitted archangels, leading to their intervention. The dragons, acknowledging the humans' poor state after fighting archangels like Raphael, state they are breaking their usual territorial rule by getting involved. They then propose to buy the humans time by acting in the middle area between dimensions, setting a 3-year preparation window for the humans.
