Synopsis

The chapter starts with the group easily clearing the first gate, discussing the dangers of rapid "circling up" (leveling). They encounter a massive horde of skeletons and are then found by a stranded individual who reveals his knowledge of the area and the skeletons' behavior. He asks the group to be his bodyguards for three days while he searches for a specific item, stating he needs it because his friends died to secure it for him. Meanwhile, another group is plotting to capture or kill the protagonist, implying a looming conflict.
