Synopsis

A group calling themselves the Ciburu Pirates arrives at a gate raid, causing a stir with their questionable claim to piracy. A deal is struck to sell only ten of the sixty-nine raid slots despite the potential profit loss. It's then revealed that this is to protect a target, Mineru, from assassination by the Black Magician's followers, with Kairin offering a treasure in exchange for the protagonist's protection. The chapter ends with the protagonist entering the gate.
