Synopsis

The chapter opens with a flashback to Dibos's past before joining the hero, Aran, and her group. Present-day, a desperate woman seeks Arans' help to find her missing brother in an abandoned mine. Despite Arans' initial refusal, they investigate, encountering a mysterious corpse and the disappearance of a party member, Shannon. The chapter ends with the revelation that the moving statues are a means for a giant 'Tree of the Demon' called Zaqqum to act, and that Shannon is now aligned with it.
