Synopsis

A defeated player, consumed by bitterness, accuses the protagonist and others of being developers who treat players like lab rats, revealing the game's rigged nature. The protagonist then encounters a thief who is severely injured and barters healing for her savings, discovering she has someone she needs to protect. He upgrades his bone blade using monster remains, unlocking a ranged attack, and sets his next goal to level up, missing his former friend in the process. Meanwhile, a mysterious voice plots to steal the protagonist’s weapon by granting the stealer’s wish.
