Synopsis

The protagonist and his group have rescued Russ, who was framed and attacked, along with another injured man. Russ, reveals his past life and vows loyalty, seeking strength from the protagonist. The protagonist considers future companions, dismissing some while acknowledging the need to learn about the world. The chapter also touches upon the importance of the Dwarves and their faith.
