Synopsis

Luo Wuji's seemingly relaxed training of Wei Ziqing is met with criticism from other instructors, who believe he's given up. A promised battle between Ziqing and veteran soldiers is set to coincide with a capital officer's inspection, adding pressure. Luo Wuji then introduces a philosophical lesson on perception and reality, setting the stage for Ziqing's challenging test, and questioning their belief system. This is all done to question their perception of the real world and how it shapes their actions.
