Synopsis

The chapter begins by explaining the "Black Forest" as a powerful space-type skill that caused mass casualties in the protagonist's past life. It highlights Tomas as the culprit. The protagonist is then trapped within an illusion that seems to pull from the traumatic memories of the victims of the Black Forest, where they express their hate and resentment for him choosing to save another city over theirs. He declares that he will not stop, determined to create a future where no one suffers such losses. Towards the end, the illusion starts to falter, as the protagonist realizes whose memories he is experiencing and seeks to find the culprit of the illusion.
