Synopsis

A young man with severed meridians begs the protagonist to take him as a disciple, driven by a desire for revenge. The protagonist declines revenge as motivation, emphasizing a pure desire to be stronger. Meanwhile, assassins target the protagonist, and the Golden Wall Merchant Guild struggles to manage the consequences of a related incident involving corpses in a brothel, while also trying to monitor the recovering protagonist and awaiting the arrival of a renowned physician.
