Synopsis

The protagonist learns his engagement is in jeopardy due to a marriage proposal from the powerful Zhongli Clan. He is assigned a bodyguard, Yoli, due to the threat from the Zhongli Clan. The protagonist then encounters and swiftly defeats a group of thugs from the Crimson Dragon Sect, who were causing trouble. Rather than kill them, he decides to interrogate them, learning they were sent by their Vice Sect Leader.
