Synopsis

The chapter opens with Kairo forces in disarray, realizing their defense lines have fallen rapidly. They discover Hektor has been strategically preparing in the rear camp. Roman is called upon, but the Royal family questions his absence during the defense's collapse. It's revealed that Hektor is bolstered by powerful allies, a mage and a swordsman. Roman, however, contemplates the power of magic, his past, and prepares for action, deciding to take advantage of his current situation, while the Kairo forces mistakenly assume Hektor is weaker than they are.
