Synopsis

This chapter exposes the truth behind Count Ronden's actions, revealing he was blackmailed into living a life of debauchery to protect his children. It is further revealed that the recent riot and other events were orchestrated by outside forces to destabilize Redford. Jacklin, realizing he was manipulated, decides to take responsibility for the chaos and plans to overthrow the king, understanding that leaving the current ruler in power will lead to the kingdom's destruction. He orders the Knight Captain to behead the Imperial Knight Captain if they attack, signifying his full commitment to this coup.
