Synopsis

The chapter reveals that the Ecorche Guild's plan to assassinate Roman Dmitri has been anticipated by the Dmitri family, who have infiltrated the city and are aware of the guild's movements. The guild members are forced to reroute, while Ilya, a notorious assassin, infiltrates Dmitri's inner castle. She reflects on her past successful missions and prepares to complete her tenth assassination, targeting a sleeping Roman Dmitri. As Ilya is about to strike, her attack seems to be met with a strange reaction as the target calls her out on an illusion.
