Synopsis

The chapter opens with the captured dragon, Solitas, being questioned about his knowledge of jewel refinement. He then experiences a series of bizarre and nonsensical offers of marriage to another dragon, before being confronted with a marriage contract. Solitas later finds himself captive of a group of humans, and is forced into a negotiation after his defeat, with the humans desperately trying to manage his volatile anger, triggered by his loss and damaged pride. They use food and perceived status to placate him.
