Synopsis

The chapter opens with the characters struggling to damage a powerful creature with seemingly impenetrable armor. Lloyd returns and analyzes the creature's composition, revealing it's a complex structure of dentin, chitin, and a triple-layered honeycomb. He identifies that the energy from attacks is being channeled to its horn, and he devises a strategy to sever the horn and target a specific weak spot near its hydraulic claw using a directional mana blast. The chapter concludes with a call to action from Lloyd, urging his comrade to attack quickly, despite it being weaker.
