Synopsis

The chapter opens with Lloyd using a little-known law to declare his property off-limits and orders a trespasser's arm to be cut off. Lloyd is revealed to be gathering funds and giving them to a loan shark to cover part of the monthly interest. Afterwards, Lloyd gains access to an in-game system that allows him to use resource points to acquire skills, which he uses to gain basic surveying and design skills. The chapter ends with Lloyd realizing that he can also use the system to summon allies to his side.
