Synopsis

The chapter opens with someone mistakenly accusing the protagonist of absorbing the Winter Heart, which then transitions to the revelation that he is married to Queen Alicia. A quick divorce happens to facilitate a race. The chapter then shifts to a centaur race where divorce and remarriage are commonplace, revealing a strange cultural practice. The protagonist obtains a map, and then confronts the source of the time freeze power he's been using as its power becomes uncontrollable and dangerous. The chapter ends with a mysterious figure approaching.
