Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist facing dire consequences for swallowing the Winter Heart, a sacred artifact. This leads to the artifact manifesting within him as a talking 'butt monster'. The protagonist learns about past events involving a former duke using blood magic, and later discovers that the Winter Heart granted him the ability to freeze time. Despite this new power, the protagonist recognizes he must continue to grow stronger.
