Synopsis

Penumbra, led by Ling Ce, prepares for a guild war against Thousand Autumns, who are backed by a powerful family. After an assassin seemingly hired by Thousand Autumns attacks Penumbra's guildmaster, Ling Ce uses the incident, which was actually orchestrated by him, as a pretext to publicly declare war and get the support of Heavenland. They strategically choose a battle location to gain a logistical advantage. Meanwhile, Thousand Autumns, caught off guard by the sudden declaration and their leader's failure to anticipate the trap, reluctantly accepts the challenge despite being unprepared.
