Synopsis

The chapter opens with the group facing a relentless zombie attack, highlighting their dwindling resources and the psychological toll the battle is taking. They manage to hold their defensive line until a new threat emerges from the ground, which is successfully blocked. However, this success is short lived as they witness a zombie rapidly evolving, and realize that it has absorbed their companion Golpie. The main character then wrestles with the idea of having to kill the Golpie-zombie.
