Synopsis

The protagonist, Mord, a bastard son of a powerful clan, requests to enter the God of Combat's Grave, a place traditionally reserved for direct bloodlines. He's challenged to a duel and displays a remarkable ability to copy skills during the fight, quickly mastering the "double attack" and even a basic form of "Impulse", abilities thought only accessible by those with a more established lineage. This display impresses his clan elder, who initially scoffed at him, leading to an offer of a reward for his exceptional talent, which Mord uses to reinforce his desire to challenge the God of Combat's Grave.
