Synopsis

Mord, after confronting a remnant of the God of Combat, discovers the God's displeasure with how the Vernars family has changed and discusses potential side effects of mixed bloodlines impacting the Archduke. The chapter then shifts focus to Leon, who finds the God of Combat's inheritance and a mysterious stone plaque in underground ruins, providing context to Leon's backstory. Later, Mord obtains an ancient relic, a belt made of dragon leather, which the God of Combat used and encounters the healed villager with a much different personality than expected. Finally, the chapter ends with Mord requesting an isolated space.
