Synopsis

Mord astounds onlookers with his dramatically increased power, attributed to a blessing from the God of Combat and the use of a "World Fragment" as a mana source. He is then approached by Wolse, who initially offers him a position serving Viden but soon reveals he intends to force Mord into service by challenging him, using an advanced skill called "Impulse Gauntlet" which Mord is not expected to be able to match, leading to an upcoming battle to prove himself.
