Synopsis

This chapter sees Jamie, now a powerful mage, navigating a complex political landscape with brewing conflicts, factions trying to recruit him to their side, and an impending natural disaster, a typhoon. He receives a letter from his parents showing concern for him while he also reconnects with acquaintances. Additionally, the Equality faction attempts to bring him in, warning of the power struggles between the kings and nobles factions, urging him not to join any side.
