Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist acknowledging a debt and showcasing a new power that absorbs opponents' abilities. He confronts a powerful foe, revealing a past life and the ability to manipulate darkness and gravity. Meanwhile, it's discovered that Professor Keniack helped him break through a barrier and a homunculus plays a significant part in the protagonist's power development; a final reveal occurs with a character proclaiming themself as a puppet made by a serpent.
