Synopsis

The chapter delves deeper into the plot, revealing that the Third Elder is using 'chips' to control individuals, and the so-called 'Doctor' is involved in developing these methods, focusing on a project called 'Apophis'. A homunculus, initially under the control of the Third Elder, is freed by the protagonist after reading its memories, and reveals the Elder's disdain for talented people. The protagonist prepares to confront the Third Elder, and the Seventh Elder is called upon to address the growing unrest, suspecting manipulation and warning against trusting anyone.
