Synopsis

Jamie begins his sword training, demonstrating unexpected stamina, which surprises his father and even the training instructor, Hamilton. Despite his initial desire to learn directly from his father, Jamie is put through rigorous physical training by Hamilton, who emphasizes harsh discipline. Meanwhile, Jamie's family is preparing for a visit from Viscount Balle, a close friend of Jamie's father, adding another layer of pressure to the household. Jamie ends up exhausting himself and fainting after an intense run.
