Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Holy Marshall using a powerful, yet taxing, burst of holy magic to defend against an unspecified threat, which leaves them with transferred pain. A character described as a "filthy black magician" then confronts a grotesque, body-modified enemy who is experimenting on living creatures and using lifeforms as implants. The dark magician uses spatial magic to move and appears to protect a child, all while casually taunting his opponent, who displays enhanced strength, and then they engage in a brief battle. The dark magician has a time limit before the Marshall's authority is released, and needs to search for the child named Ricky.
