Synopsis

The chapter begins with the dark magician accepting his loss to a human, which leads him to consider the strength of humans. He discovers a new power related to black mana and theorizes about its connection to primordial darkness and the gods. Meanwhile, a group of violent criminals in a prison camp are preparing to attack Hawkes, fueled by revenge, while a separate group tries to minimize the damages of the fight. The magician then displays a power that seems to stop time to aid another.
