Synopsis

Jamie Welton arrives at Frontier after his long journey and is introduced to the diverse group of Frontier Commanders. The commanders are a mix of races, including elves, dwarves, and various beastkin. During introductions, a human commander from Ryo is provoked by a bird commander who displays prejudice, causing a tense conflict that Jamie intervenes to stop. The chapter ends with Frontier's leader Isis asking Jamie to stop the fight, while apologizing for the commander's behavior.
