Synopsis

The chapter opens with a discussion between a count and a swordmaster about the count's son, Jamie, whose magical talent is deemed extraordinary, even surpassing legendary levels. The swordmaster reveals his wish to see Jamie's talent develop despite understanding that it might be a threat to humanity as it was known before. Meanwhile, Jamie encounters some friends and is being pestered by them, and then he is confronted by a mysterious entity, possibly a monster, who seems to have a history with Jamie.
