Synopsis

The chapter opens with a tense negotiation where Harmonia seeks Seldam's help, offering dependency as payment, but quickly moves to showcasing the corrupted state of Harmonia through its elites' extravagant welcome for Seldam. The Seldam delegation, including Grand Magician Welton Junior, arrives at Harmonia's castle, observing the political turmoil and the King's apparent lack of power, controlled by Marquis Helrum. This culminates in a dining scene where a Harmonian noble, Viscount Malve Capri, is publicly humiliated, while Count Neo Paital secretly approaches Welton, revealing the kingdom's true state and seeking help in destroying the existing Harmonia.
