Synopsis

The chapter begins with the discovery of an irregular, monstrous rat, possibly created by demonic energy. The platoon is then faced with a swarm of monster rats emerging from both the front and rear entrances, forcing them into a defensive formation. While most of the platoon battles the rats, the First Lieutenant notices that Lee Dongjin, a private, is displaying signs of special training. The chapter ends with the platoon struggling against the swarm and needing more personnel.
