Synopsis

Rakiel, the Crown Prince, is the subject of painful needle treatments, but now seems unfazed by them. He's also surprisingly organized, forming a private guard from gladiators. Furthermore, he conducts needle-based experiments on palace servants. Rakiel is seeking a way to create numerous thin needles and summons a creature named Ggoseum, a sentient cactus, who provides thorns to use for that purpose, suggesting a solution to a lingering problem.
