Synopsis

The chapter begins with the main character training at a well that amplifies desires, using it to enhance his strength. He receives new cooking utensils and improves his cooking, particularly rice soup. This rice soup becomes surprisingly popular with the nightmares, leading them to battle over it and inadvertently giving the main character existential power and notoriety. The chapter concludes with the main character being targeted by the Cardinal of Plague and Darkness for entering their territory but uses a skill to hide from other constellations.
